[Non-Scaler Implementation Case] Major Steelworks
Preventing blade damage in the cooling water pump! A case study of reducing the frequency of line stoppages through monthly disassembly and cleaning of the pump 1.2 times.
【Effects After Installation】 ■ Prevention of damage to the impeller of the cooling water pump due to calcium crystals ■ Prevention of calcium scale solidification and adhesion inside the pump ■ Reduction of line stoppage frequency from 1.2 times per month due to pump disassembly and cleaning, leading to increased productivity! Our factory was experiencing a situation where the line stopped every month (20 times/year) due to strong calcium scale adhering inside the pump, causing internal damage and requiring disassembly and cleaning. After the installation of the "Non-Scaler," there have been no line stoppages for over six months. Upon checking the scale condition inside the pump casing, it was found to be soft and in fine particle form, rather than forming strong calcium scale. By preventing damage to the pump caused by calcium scale, we have not only avoided line stoppages but also achieved significant reductions in maintenance costs. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
